the three musketeers

mike went back to work tonight from his four week paternity leave after noah was born. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't the tiniest bit nervous being home alone, especially overnight while mike is at work and i'm  all by myself with noah. most of all though i grew so accustomed to the three of us being together day in and day out these past few weeks that now i'm so sad that it's just noah and i while mike is off at work.








on a lighter note, noah had his one month check up at the pediatricians office today. he weighed in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. our little guy is growing so fast! he also had to get his second hepatitis b shot and only cried a little bit, mommy gave him snuggles right after :)


being a mommy is by far the most exciting adventure i've ever been on. the days are pretty routine right now since noah still pretty much sleeps in between his every three hour feedings. huge highlights are when we get smiles from him, it seems like there are more and more each day. he also just became big enough to really start enjoying his swing, he's usually out like a light within five or ten minutes of being buckled in. i feel so blessed to have such a happy & sweet baby boy and amazing husband.
