one month old






noah at one month:



  • 7 pounds 14 ounces

  • 21 inches long

  • 6th percentile for his weight

  • 25th percentile for his height

  • is getting so good at holding his head up for longer and longer periods of time

  • is staring to make eye contact for brief periods of time, acknowledging us

  • smiling so much more

  • you really like to swing, you usually fall asleep within 5 to 10 minutes of being put in it

  • sleeping for 3 to 3.5 hours between feeding and eating about 4 ounces each time

  • loves to snuggle and sway or be bounced and be sung to, you seem to really calm down to "amazing grace" if you're upset


    sometimes it's still so crazy to think that i'm a mommy. mike and i had to try for what i felt like was quite a while to have noah and even when we finally found out we were expecting it was so hard to believe it was true. i'll never take any of this for granted. motherhood has truly been the most beautiful & rewarding time of my life, sleep deprivation and all. i want to cherish every moment with my sweet baby boy, bottle it up, keep it close. he wont be this tiny forever, i tear up even thinking about it. but, there is so, so much to look forward to, so much more over the horizon. i'm looking forward to a life time of adventures with my sweet little guy.

      What a sweet baby boy!! Congrats on becoming a new mommy. It's the best thing ever!! Cherish every moment because it goes way to fast.

        They grow so quickly, you always hear that from other people but it's amazing when it happens daily, before your eyes! He's becoming more attentive every day, it's so fun to see their little personalities developing!
